Be An Instrument Of Peace

As the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi says, Lord make me an instrument of Thy Peace, we all can be instruments of peace in our lives and the lives of others.

Because we live stressful and busy times, we may become upset, overwhelmed, and frustrated. We may forget to pay attention to our essence. We may be used to live based on our external world. However, we are more than what we do, what we have, or how we look. We have a spiritual dimension that needs nourishment; that needs serenity; that needs care. We hear from people who bring peace to others at a large level, such asMahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa, what about if we start with ourselves and our circle of family and friends?

In the guided meditation class with my group of peaceful and loving people, I always remind them that they all have within, the light of peace and love. We have the ability to stay serene; we have the ability to provide calm; we have the ability to help others find that spiritual center they all have inside; the light of peace they carry within.
When you become an instrument of peace, it originates from the inside out. Instead of expecting others to give it to you; to become more peaceful; to becomes more relaxed; to be calmer or more loving … it starts with you. Be an instrument of peace; be an instrument of love, be an instrument of healing.

Pay attention that we are talking about healing spiritually. Since when our spirit is hurt, when our spirit is damaged, when our spirit is hopeless, it feels overwhelmed and destroyed. When you come and bring peace, you are helping that person to rise from where they are, to come out of the darkness and embrace peace, love, and healing.
You can provide it…you can make the change ..always remembering that everything starts with you!

I wish you a day full of peace and love,

Remember…Your life has meaning!
